Lesiones traumáticas postanestésicas. Manejo y recomendaciones

La anestesia dental es una sustancia que controla y previene las sensaciones dolorosas que pueda generar un tratamiento odontológico. Al administrar esta sustancia en un niño debemos recomendar a sus padres una serie de cuidados para evitar alguna lesión post tratamiento.

Las lesiones postanestésicas son autoinflingidas, y esto se debe a que suceden durante la etapa de insensibilidad por la aplicación de la anestesia dental. La aparición de lesiones como eritemas o ulceras se pueden presentar.

Irrigantes en Pulpectomías: ¿Cuál podemos usar?

La pulpectomía es un procedimiento odontológico que se encarga de retirar por completo la pulpa dental y de eliminar los microorganismos que se encuentran en los conductos radiculares. Para esos fines se realiza la preparación de los conductos y la irrigación de conductos.

Mandibular tumors in pediatric patients. Report of 04 cases of aggressive tumors

There are several causes that give rise to a jaw tumor in a pediatric patient, so it is important for the professional to know the clinical characteristics of the lesion. Jaw tumors in children are not frequent, and cause a physical and psychological alteration of the patient.

Uso del fluoruro diamino de plata en caries temprana de la infancia - Instrucciones e indicaciones

La caries es una de las enfermedades infecciosas de mayor prevalencia en el mundo, que no distingue edad ni condición social, que causa destrucción de la estructura dental alterando la salud bucal y general de la persona.

Análisis de Moyers - Paso a Paso

Odontogenic facial cellulitis in a pediatric patient - Diagnosis, treatment and multidisciplinary management

Facial cellulitis is an infectious process, usually odontogenic, that puts the life of the pediatric patient at serious risk if it does not have the appropriate treatment. The immune system of the child patient is not developed enough to deal with this type of infection.

Facial cellulite spreads to other anatomical regions, aponeurotic plane and tissue spaces. Clinically, facial cellulite is of a soft consistency and with inflammatory signs. Early diagnosis and treatment prevents serious consequences of cellulite.

Shock anafiláctico en paciente pediátrico: Todo lo que se debe hacer
