In professional practice it is common to find odontogenic infections, both in children and adults. Odontogenic infections are those whose origin is the teeth or supporting tissues.
This infection can invade different neighboring anatomical spaces, compromising the general health of the pediatric patient. That is why early evaluation and treatment of any infection that appears in the oral cavity is important.
