Pulp treatments in immature primary and permanent teeth aim to preserve the teeth until natural exfoliation. The pulp treatment to be performed will depend on a correct clinical and radiographic evaluation.
The treatment will depend on the vitality of the pulp, in case it is a vital tooth, pulp capping and pulpotomy can be performed. In non-vital teeth, pulpectomies are performed.
